Though I am so poor at the moment, I also am craving new clothes like hell…..so I bought these pants at aritzia of all places. Silk cotton blend, and i love them.

2 boxingday/week purchase predictions:
Nudie Hi kai jeans
some sort of low heeled ankle boot, or Frye boots if I can ebay them.
Ladies, what about you?

Love the peach pants- pretty. I am also broke and not meant to spend money, but I got these for 25% off after a long hiatus from any kind of shopping and in the midst of snow blizzards and sloshy snow-rain, good stomping boots were far too appealing. I was going to post them first and ask for opinions but my online impulse was too strong. I’ve been eyeing motorcycle boots for ages but these ones seem just right:
I’ve been searching for other boots (low heeled ankle boot too, but something ladylike) with no finds that have drawn me except these monstrously expensive gorgeous fuckers…there is no way I can justify these:
I’m open to other suggestions. Blaireau, you have fantastic shoe/heel/boot taste. Point me in some covetous directions!

Now that you’ve got me started:

Wow….this is a strange coincidence….
look whats on my ebay ‘watch’ list:
I love the motorcycle boot, but I’m afraid that after a year or so I won’t be into them anymore. I’m also not a big fan of the buckle across the front. I prefer the ones you got! Very cute.
Also on my watch list:
I’m intrigued but its probably just label-whoring. By the looks of it, the fit wouldn’t be that great for me. But I love Acne. Hm….comments?
The Rachel Comey boots are fucking awesome. I usually hate that thick elastic banding but its just so good with those colors and that shape. I’m having a hard time finding the right ones as well. I have a vintage pair that are falling apart and the shape isn’t that great, but I have to say that I love the little bit of lift and clip clop I get from them. It just makes me feel confident walking in them. That being said, I personally wouldn’t go in for a wedge bootie. I hate the way wedges move and on a boot construction I’m not confident they’d have the same effect as a separated heel…..
More clothes talk please. Between two jobs I need to spoil myself a bit in the new year. I’m at home sick and I’ve been perusing online shopping all morning making a mental list of things to check on boxingday. fuck I love online shopping. And now that my crutch (AA website) has been saturated with Gerry, my online perusing is hitting much more expensive, dangerous waters.

Glad you like them– I was really second guessing whether or not I would regret the more subtle motorcycle silhouette and miss having chunky buckles to look ass kicking in but I think they will transition better over the years. I like motorcycle boots more for the idea of owning them for a very very long time, going through periods of hating them occasionally and then pulling them back out of my closet and wearing them again.
Pass on the lanvin/acne jeans- I’m pretty sure I’ve seen those in a few sales racks and I don’t think I like the jean wash or cut. Besides Jeans fits just vary far too much to ever buy online without having tried them on first. I went to try on acnes a few months back and hated the ones I tried on. They seem hit and miss as a company. Your teeny tiny ones are fabulous on you, but my magic bullet is helmut lang. I shelled out for a pair in the fall and they are perfect.
What do you ladies think about the longer skirt trend? I’m thinking 70’s high waist calf length grey skirt, no pleats but a good waist panel and a belt to wear to work. Dublin girls haven’t picked up this style yet and I like making a departure first.

Yep on the skirt. But beyond calf length still doesn’t appeal to me.
I never considered helmut lang jeans. You are a crazy spoiled bitch.

Well, they were cheaper than a pair of acne’s.
