Proud as I can be

Triple Falling Angel.  My most beloved trick and the reason for matching bruises ringing my knees.  They get re-bruised every damn week.

I really hate the ending. You know when you first hear yourself recorded vocally? Its the same cringe-inducing experience. I hate that dippy little bow and clap I do.

Am i really THAT odd? All withdrawn and awkward with half-lidded eyes?

This pretty much blew my mind over and over again. While I was watching I was struck by the language you have learned, all these repeated movements, hooking your legs this way and that wrapping the silk around in such specific patterns that produce very different results, sort of mirrored the way a tongue tries to wrap around foreign sounds and words. I love the awkwardness and hesitations, where I can see that you are thinking of the next step. Somehow seems even more engaging than professionals I’ve seen who make it look fluid and easy.

I see no awkwardness! Professionals do this better? I’m awestruck.

I reiterate: Not dippy. One of my favourite things about you is how you pull off amazing things and so unself-consciously delight in them. I’ve always found it quite pure.
